Founded in 1981 by Doug Fraser and now run by son Richard Fraser, we have over 40 years’ experience in tool hire, equipment sales and use that experience to advise our clients of the best, most reliable products for the job. Our hire fleet covers a wide range from breakers, generators and concrete cutters to floor sanders, water pumps and pressure cleaners. Our national sales division, Tool Time are agents for Honda, Husqvarna, Yamaha, Makita, Bosch, AKSA and more. Our-fully fitted workshop handles servicing and repairs of the full range of tools and equipment we hire and sell.

TOOL HIRE: Hire It has been hiring tools and construction equipment to builders, plumbers, farmers, electricians and general DIY enthusiasts all over Durban and Natal for four decades. The tool hire fleet covers a wide range of small plant and power tools from breakers and concrete mixers to floor sanders, water pumps and generator hire. Each machine is checked and tested before every hire in our fully fitted workshop.
EQUIPMENT SALES: We sell tools & equipment through our sales division Tool Time and use our experience in hire to advise of the best, most reliable products for the job because we have used a range of tools and know what works! We have launched our very own in-house brand of construction equipment called Kwagga. Locally assembled and powered by Honda engines means it’s cost-effective and reliable. That’s why the Rugby Legend Kwagga Smith has endorsed the brand himself! Hire it believes in quality products and as such we are agents for brands like Honda, Aksa, Husqvarna, Yamaha, Makita, Bosch, Hoffman and more.
REPAIRS: Our fully fitted workshop, is supported by an experienced and reliable team of mechanics who handle servicing and repairs of the wide range of tools and equipment – from generator hire and sales, to concrete equipment, water pumps, sanders and more. As the leading Honda power products dealer in KwaZulu Natal, we have access to all spares for maintenance and repairs.
